PBZ was tasked to design, develop and fabricate and install an exclusive two day pop-up experience at the iconic Mels Diner in WeHo for the launch of Paramount+ Grease prequel: Rise of the Pink Ladies.
We developed activation concepts and immersive experiential builds in collaboration with the shows set designers to bring attendees back to the 50’s in classic Grease style by recreating the Frosty Palace diner from both the show and the original movie.
The end result incorporated architectural wrap around graphics. two 8’ Frosty the Snowman sculptures, custom neon lights, set design, classic cars, large format sculptural typography, a fabricated entrance arch, outdoor cinema screening, wrapped booths, hand screened penants and lettermans.
